Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis is committed to improving care for seriously ill children at the Emma Children’s Hospital, part of Amsterdam UMC – both during their stay in hospital and in the period that follows. Because when a child is ill, life comes to a standstill, and it is precisely at such times that healthcare must provide everything needed to enable them to look to the future again.
The best care is not self-evident. Many important facilities, innovations and forms of support are not funded from the regular hospital budget or the government. It is precisely there that the foundation makes a difference. Thanks to the support of donors, businesses and charitable trusts, we can contribute to care that goes beyond the purely medical.
We invest in initiatives that directly improve the lives of children and their families. From innovative scientific research to child-friendly facilities and psychosocial support for the entire family. Everything with one goal: ensuring that every child, despite illness, can get the most out of life.
As a CBF-accredited charity, Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis stands for reliability and transparency. Every donation is used carefully and purposefully for a single beneficiary: the Emma Children’s Hospital.
