A big heart for the Emma

Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis ambassadors inform, inspire and empower children

Naturally, we want to reach as many people as possible with our mission. We are therefore grateful to count a wonderful group of people among our ambassadors. Each with their own motivation, but together with one goal: better healthcare for children in the Netherlands.

Roxy Dekker

"I saw children briefly escape their reality"

Roxy Dekker needs no introduction. The star of Dutch music has a clear mission as an ambassador for the Emma Children's Hospital.

Kalvijn

“My online world can broaden their worlds a bit”

The YouTuber, presenter, author and entrepreneur Kalvijn reaches over 1 million people online every day. He knows better than anyone how to reach young people and understands them inside out.

Robert ten Brink

“Children are vulnerable and need us desperately”

Robert has been an ambassador for Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis since 2005 and, on top of that, has had a very special and close connection with the Emma for forty years.

Igone de Jongh

"Children are the future: we must cherish them"

Igone danced for 24 years with Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, for which she performed many lead roles. As an ambassador, she puts not herself, but the children in the spotlight.

André Kuipers

“Taking children on an adventure is wonderful”

André Kuipers is well known for his unusual profession as an astronaut. Slightly less well known is that he trained as a doctor and the fact that he did his clinical placements at the Emma Children's Hospital.

Lucas & Steve

“If we can contribute a little bit of joy, then that is wonderful”

Maastricht natives Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen, better known as DJ duo Lucas & Steve, are entertainers through and through. They dedicate this with passion and joy to the children.

FLEMMING

“I will do everything I can to see that smile on their faces”

By now, FLEMMING has become an indispensable part of Dutch pop music. Meanwhile, he has built a close bond with the Emma Children's Hospital, where he even recorded a music video.

Johnny de Mol

“The bravery of children amazes me time and time again”

Johnny de Mol loves to dedicate himself to others, which is clearly shown in his television programmes. If it's up to him, we should be kinder to one another and look after each other better.

Nicolette van Dam

“All Emma staff deserve a statue”

Nicolette van Dam has been involved with the Emma Children's Hospital for more than ten years. Nicolette wishes every vulnerable child the best future and is happy to dedicate herself to the cause.

Ronald de Boer

“The doctors at Emma play Champions League every day”

As a professional footballer, Ronald de Boer won just about everything there was to win. As a ‘friend of’, Ronald is just as passionately committed to the Emma Children's Hospital.
