Board and advisors of the foundation
In addition to a chairperson, treasurer and secretary, the board of the Steun Emma Foundation comprises various board members and advisers. The board members work for the foundation on a voluntary basis, without pay or remuneration, and each has their own area of focus.
Mr M.A. de Blécourt-Wouterse
Chairperson
Mirjam de Blécourt is an employment law solicitor and partner at Baker McKenzie Amsterdam; as chair of Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis, she is responsible for the board.
Claire Dumas
Treasurer
Claire Dumas is Chief Financial Officer at NIBC Bank and, as treasurer of Stichting Steun Emma Kinderziekenhuis, is responsible for managing the organisation’s finances.
Jkvr. Q.V. de Ranitz
Secretary
The Emma Children's Hospital was founded in 1865 by physician and jonkheer Dr Samuel de Ranitz. Since then, a family member has always been part of the board. Quirine de Ranitz is a Wellbeing Coach at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and, as secretary, is responsible for the board's written communication.

Marc van Rooijen is Senior Partner Emeritus at McKinsey & Company and, as a board member, is responsible for the strategy portfolio.

Willem de Vries, Head of the Emma Children's Hospital, is involved with the foundation as an advisor.

Hans van Goudoever, former Head of Medicine at the Emma Children's Hospital and current Chair of the Board of Directors of the Amsterdam UMC, is involved with the foundation as an adviser.

Adviser
Emeritus professor of paediatrics and former director of the Emma Children's Hospital Hugo Heymans is the bearer of the ideals of the Emma Children's Hospital and is involved with the foundation as an ambassador and advisor.
